PT studio now open in Willoughby

So, the last few pieces of equipment have been installed, and the PT studio is now open for appointments. Clients are already training here and discovering how much fun boxing workouts are!

Note that sessions are by appointment, so please see the contact page to request an appointment for you first (FREE) session.

The outside of the studio now has our logo, and some motivational posters, as well as business cards and info sheets for you to take away:

I am also adding an events page, as I am planning to provide some free services in Willoughby Park shortly such as a free 30 minute group fitness session, and perhaps some fitness challenges on weekends with prizes – stay tuned!

Motivative PT Studio almost live!

Hello all,

First blog post, as the studio is almost ready to go following some seriously hard graft over the Easter weekend. Check the “Willoughby Studio” link for some progress pics, and check back soon for updates.

Also for the first blog post – a training tip:

Want to burn fat, get your heart rate up and improve your stamina/endurance and all-round fitness? Get yourself a good speed rope and learn the ancient (?) art of jump rope/skipping.

A decent speed rope will only cost you $5-$10 from any sports store and it’s extremely portable – you can carry it with you and do it anywhere during your workouts. A 5-10 minute skipping session is a great high intensity cardio exercise – and once you have practised a bit, you’ll be skipping like a pro boxer!

You may eventually transition from a normal speed rope, to a wire style rope such as this one:

Then, you’ll be going supersonic… Ok, get skipping! 🙂
